Boating in the Pacific NW

best shoe boating water shoes

When you think of summer in the Pacific NW, chances are the image of water and boating will pop into your head.  And in more cases than not, you are on the water or planning to be within the next week.  Big boat, kayak, rowboat…hey, honestly, I am hard-pressed to think of a better way to spend my summer days.  Well other than golf, gardening, BBQ, playing with the dog at the beach, watching the Mariners etc.
One thing I find when out and about on the water is what you wear on your feet can be vitally important.  Sure, you want to wear an easy on-off flip flop.  But as many can attest, this is a dangerous choice.  Keeping those toes protected is vital, also stability and support come in really handy when dealing with rocky uneasy movement as well as hiking to or getting in and out of the boat.
You probably already have a corner of shoe space dedicated to outdoor shoe-wear.  But whether you need to update your footwear, add to your collection, or replace due to ineffectiveness, here is what I recommend to keep you comfortable, safe, and looking good all at the same time!
For you ladies, these 2 pairs of shoes will take you far.  In fact, hiking isn’t out of the question either!
