Did you get some good use out of your slippers this Fall and Winter? With the coldest months behind us (we hope!), your slippers are probably due for a good cleaning! But maybe you are a little nervous about cleaning you and your pups favorite pair? Whether you prefer the wool slippers or a soft shearling pair, here’s a little info to help you out…
Our most popular slipper, the Halflinger. This pair features:

For your felt wool slippers:
Needed:
- Woolite
- Towel
Typically, a quick wipe and shake should clean it, but if not:
- Add a small amount of the Woolite into the water
- Blot with the water a few times
- Blot to dry - let air dry the rest of the way
- Apply Cork Seal to exposed cork (non shiny)
NOTES:
- Avoid too much moisture, heat, soap, and friction on your wool
Our soft and comfy Sorel slippers. This pair features:

For your suede and shearling slippers:
Needed:
- Warm water or Lincoln E-Z Clean
- Brush made of brass, nylon, or nubuck
- Suede cleaning eraser or suede stone
Wash the suede leather exterior:
- Do not use soap – clean with a damp, soft cloth
- Air dry in a protected space
- Spot-clean with the brush
- Use suede eraser or stone to remove scuff marks and dirt
Hand wash the faux sheepskin interior:
DO NOT MACHINE WASH
- Test a small area of the slipper with a small amount of shampoo
- Gently scrub the slipper with a soft cloth or soft brush
- Rinse thoroughly
- Wrap slippers in a towel and pat dry
- Let slippers air dry
NOTES:
- For your suede portions, use a water-based weather protector to protect them from dirt, water, and stains.
